Physical and chemical properties: Appearance: colorless solid at room temperature, but may appear yellowish in solution. Water Solubility: 0.005 mg/L at pH 6.5 and 20℃. Solubility in Other Solvents: >500g/L at 20℃ in acetone, methanol, toluene and hexane Melting Point: 49.2℃. Vapor Pressure: negligible at 20℃. Toxicity: The LC50 (96h, μg/L) is 0.21 in bluegill and 0.24 in rainbow trout; the LD50 (oral) is 38ng and the LC50 (contact) is 909ng in bees; the acute oral LD50 is more than 3950mg/kg in mallards, and the LC50 (feeding) is more than 5000mg/kg in quails, without any enrichment in eggs or muscle.
